Dear Leader,

We have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to clean up the PCB   contamination in the Fox River and Green Bay.

Please help!   We need your participation in two events, to show   LARGE numbers of people supporting a good cleanup:

MONDAY, OCTOBER 29

at the Holiday Inn Select, 150 Nicolet Road

(U.S. 41 & College Avenue) in Appleton

5:30 pm --- River/Bay Rescue Rally, outside the front entrance

6:30 pm --- PUBLIC HEARING, inside

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 30

at the Radisson Convention Center, 2040 Airport Road  (Hwy. 172, by the Casino, across from Austin Straubel Airport) in 

Green Bay

5:30 pm --- River/Bay Rescue Rally, outside the front entrance

6:30 pm --- PUBLIC HEARING, inside

PLEASE bring a sign to carry at the rally (saying "Clean the Bay,"   "Protect Kid's Health," "It's About Time," etc.) with BIG letters. Try to  picture how your sign would come across in a newspaper photo.

PLEASE write down a brief statement you can read aloud as   testimony at the hearing.   If you can speak on behalf of your  organization, this is even better.   If you're too shy to speak before an  audience, the DNR and EPA are also taking private statements in a  nearby room.  

Your attendance through the whole hearing is important, to show   strong support.  We need at least 200 people at each hearing, to   make an impression.

If you can only come to one hearing, please come to APPLETON,   where public support is weaker.   We especially need you at the 5:30   p.m. rally before the hearing.

Please bring friends and family, too!  Spread the word among your  organization!   This is the final push for cleanup.
