Ashland erosion control workshop scheduled for March 31

There will be a Wisconsin Construction Site Erosion Control Workshop held at the Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center in Ashland on March 31.

Who should attend this workshop? Builders and contractors working on one and two-family home construction; building inspectors; landscape contractors; and others writing erosion control plans, doing site inspections or installing practices.

This one-day technical workshop is designed to address: Impacts of Erosion and Sediment; Understanding Flow and Erosion; Small-Site Practice Installation and Maintenance; Small-Site Erosion Control Planning.

John Sprangberg and John Jzerck with the Wisconsin DNR will be presenting on the NEW storm water and culvert permits.

Six continuing education credits will be offered for UDC construction inspectors and commercial building inspectors and workshop participants can also qualify for Wisconsin Department of Commerce Soil Inspection Certification.
