Subject: July 27th rally at Davis Besse nuclear reactor near Toledo, OH

Kevin Kamps, NIRS

Join us at this rally to permanently shut down the Davis Besse Nuclear Plant. This reactor is currently shut down because they found a large hole in the reactor head from corrosion that ate through 16 inches of steel. (The nuclear industry plan is to take an un-used reactor vessel head from the built but never operated reactor in Midland, MI and patch the corroded reactor at Davis Besse -- a Frankenstein fix that invites disaster.) They found it by accident and there are 68 other reactors of the same or similar design. Help join the fight to phase out nuclear power, it is not safe, it is not cheap, and it produces deadly waste that will be radioactive for hundreds of thousands of years.

Details of the rally are below, please forward to everyone you think might want to attend.
