Who We Are: The
Environmental Association for Great Lakes Education (EAGLE)
is a non-profit organization, founded in 1994, which works
on environmental issues throughout the Great Lakes Bioregion.
EAGLE's mission is to provide education and promote activism
to develop community awareness and involvement aimed at
protecting and restoring the Great Lakes ecosystem.

As the MN Hub, EAGLE provides
local Great Lakes focused organizations with the
following:
- GLAHN grant funding
information, applications, etc.
- EcoSource- a
directory of local environmental organizations,
issues and events. Available as a hard copy, on
our website at
http://eagle-ecosource.org, or on our 24 hour
digitally automated hotline (218)726-1828
- Technical training/consulting
for fledgling grassroots organizations -upon
request
- A regular "Local
Eco-News" column in the Northland Reader
- Coordination
of an annual environmental conference in February
(includes organization information tables, workshops,
speakers, and more).
- Assistance in
obtaining involvement and benefits from the Great
Lakes Aquatic Habitat Directory project- upon
request
